Switching the HFA motor driver from BS170 to 2N2222

The BS170 MOSFET I originally spec'd for the haptic motor driver on the HFA board kept getting warm under sustained PWM. After a few hours on the bench measuring Vgs thresholds and on-resistance across duty cycles, I switched to a 2N2222 NPN BJT and the thermals settled. Full writeup with scope traces and the decision criteria I used.

Going into the Qorvo Applications Engineering final round, I had maybe 60% of the RF fundamentals I needed and zero practice talking about them out loud. Here's the study plan I built, the resources that actually moved the needle (hint: not YouTube), and the two Smith chart problems that showed up in the interview.
